On the Adriatic coast there are of course camping spots, huge tourist traps and tons of hotels…but there is also the family Horvat from the village of Selce, which is 30 km south of Rijeka. In 2001 they renovated a 120 year old "Art Nouveau" villa, situated directly on the beach, into a very charming hotel. Here you can enjoy mediterranean ambience, modern comfort, beautiful location and a family atmosphere.

Location & Beach - The fantastic location of the hotel offers you not only peace and relaxation, but you are only 20 meters from the sea and 50 meters from the harbour and historical town center of Selce. This means you do not depend on any form of transportation. The beach promenade, on which the town stretches along, offers not only a wonderful sandy beach, but also pebble beaches with stairs leading into the water. They are especially well suited for toddlers and nonswimmers.

Restaurant - Your culinary desires will be taken care of in our superb hotel restaurant. In addition to the international menu, there is also a large selection of fish and seefood specialties from the Adriatic and other traditional dishes from other parts of Croatia: spicy feta cheese, the famous "dalmatia" smoked ham and of course first class croatian wines. Service & Facilities - On the reception there are english speaking personnel. It is possible to store your valuables in a safe at no extra cost and it is possible to buy postcards and magazines. The reception is open all night during the summer season and exchange office is open during the day.
